Harkleroad beaten in French Open

Walker County native Ashley Harkleroad lost 6-2, 6-1 to fifth-seeded Serena Williams in the opening round of the 2008 French Open on Sunday. Harkleroad, currently ranked 61st in the world, was playing in her fourth French Open. She advanced to the third round in 2003. (more…)
